The Eco-Friendly Details
One of the ways they achieved this was by choosing vendors who shared their vision and values. For example, the floral design and stylist, TML – Tabea Maria-Lisa, used natural plants instead of cutting flowers just for decoration. She created stunning arrangements that added a touch of greenery and freshness to the venue, St. Charles Hall, a historic and elegant building in the heart of Lucerne.
They also minimized paper waste by avoiding excessive menu printing. Instead, they displayed the menu on a large board at the entrance of the dining hall, where guests could easily see it. The menu featured delicious cuisine from Stiefels, a catering company that uses local and organic ingredients. The wedding cake, made by Die Zuckerbäckerin, was also a delight, with a simple and elegant design and a mouth-watering flavor.

The Unforgettable Moments
The wedding day itself was filled with unforgettable moments. The ceremony was held next to the beautiful lake of Lucerne, where the couple exchanged their vows in front of their family and friends. The bride looked stunning in her Zuhair Murad dress, while the groom and the bridal party wore elegant suits and dresses from Shona Joy.
The dining outside was beautifully decorated with candles, plants, and gold accents. The tables were named after different cities that the couple had visited together, adding a personal touch to the décor.
One of the highlights of the reception was when the bride surprised the groom by singing a song to him, with the help of the band’s pianist. It was a touching and heartfelt moment that made everyone tear up. The groom was speechless and kiss his bride with joy.

The After-Party
Since the venue had to close early, the couple had planned to have an after-party on a boat that cruised around Lucerne Lake under the stars. The DJ ensured everyone was dancing and having an amazing time. He played a mix of songs that suited the couple’s taste and the mood of the night. The dance floor was packed all night long! The guests also enjoyed some delicious ice-creams from Gelateria Dell’Alpi, a local gelato shop that uses natural and organic ingredients. It was a sweet way to end the night and cool off from the dancing.

This wedding was one of the most remarkable and eco-friendly weddings I have ever photographed. It was an amazing experience to work with such a wonderful couple and to capture their love story.
