Choosing photography as my career was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. My journey started back in 2008 while studying in the Netherlands, where I first picked up a camera during photography classes. At the time, I was drawn to fashion photography, but everything changed when I photographed my first wedding. Capturing real, unscripted moments and seeing the joy on couples’ faces when they saw their photos made me realize that wedding photography was where my heart truly belonged.
Nearly two decades and countless weddings later, I’ve learned that great photography isn’t just about the camera—it’s about seeing the light, feeling the moment, and capturing it in a way that tells a story. It’s about being present, knowing when to step back, and when to step in. Today, as a luxury destination wedding photographer across Europe, I’m constantly evolving, bringing passion and precision to every shoot to create images that allow my clients to relive their most cherished memories.
As a proud father of two incredible sons, I cherish every moment spent with them—sharing laughter, making memories, and soaking in life’s simple joys. My downtime is often filled with family, friends, a glass of good wine, great music, and the warmth of the sun—moments that remind me of what truly matters.
Since 2018, my wife, Avieta, and I have traveled the world together, capturing love stories as a destination wedding and event photography team. For us, it’s about more than just creating beautiful images; it’s about blending artistry with emotion. We combine elegant, timeless style and carefully crafted color palettes with the raw, unscripted emotions that make each wedding unique. It’s a privilege to tell these stories and preserve the memories of such meaningful days. Every morning, I wake up feeling grateful to do what I love—turning fleeting moments into lifelong treasures.
With over 15 years of experience capturing luxury events across the globe, my photography is defined by a soft, luminous style that feels natural and alive. While I’m drawn to warm, sun-soaked destinations, my Dutch roots also find beauty and peace in the stillness of a snowy mountain winter. When the temperature drops, there’s something magical about cozying up by a fireplace and soaking in its warmth.
I speak English, Dutch, and German fluently, and I’m continually improving my Spanish—because connection, in any language, is at the heart of what I do.
Born in Zurich, Switzerland, and proud of her Serbian roots, Avieta began her professional journey as the first woman hired at Google’s European headquarters in Zurich. There, she helped establish the people-first culture that continues to thrive today. After a successful career in consulting, she reconnected with her creative side when she met Youri in Ibiza, rediscovering her passion for photography.
Since 2018, Avieta has worked alongside Youri, traveling the world to capture unforgettable moments. A proud mother of two grown children, she is fluent in six languages and runs her own female-focused branding and photography business. She also organizes empowering trips across Europe for women, combining her love of connection, creativity, and community. You can explore more about her work on her personal website here.

I love to capture the stories of those who embrace life’s beauty, travel with curiosity, and find freedom in every adventure
I want you to look back at your special day and remember not just how you looked, but how you felt. That means I am not counting the hours, but counting the moments. I will not leave until I've captured every detail, no matter how long it takes and regardless of the unforeseen delays. I tell the full story of your special day without any stressful hourly packages.
All editing is done in-house by us, without out-sourcing to an agency. This allows me to maintain my unique style and quality and have full artistic control over the final product.
My attention to detail and devotion to a personal experience means I only take on a limited number of events per year. Your day is important to me and I want to be fully present for every second of it.
