When this American couple contacted me about their destination wedding in Switzerland, they had one clear vision: a sophisticated black-tie celebration with the energy of a New York party. St. Charles Hall in Lucerne became the perfect stage for their two-day Swiss adventure.
Wedding mornings are often chaotic, but this one was different. We had the luxury of time, which transformed the entire getting-ready experience. The bride wore a stunning Jenny Yoo gown, and the relaxed pace allowed me to capture every detail with an editorial approach. No stress, no rushing: just beautiful, polished portraits that felt effortless.
Switzerland's unpredictable weather meant we moved the ceremony indoors. This turned out to be a blessing. The historic interiors of St. Charles Hall created an intimate yet majestic atmosphere that outdoor settings simply cannot match. The architectural details and natural light through the villa's grand windows provided a cinematic backdrop for their vows.

As guests moved to the terrace, Freddy Sax filled the air with sophisticated melodies. This is where the European elegance really came alive. Before joining the reception, we stole away for a dedicated couple's portrait session. These quiet moments allowed the newlyweds to connect while I captured the villa's stunning architecture and their genuine emotions.

The reception entrance set the tone immediately, with high energy and full of joy. Kauer Catering delivered an exceptional culinary experience, while Tina Mara's florals transformed the dinner hall into a romantic garden. But what happened after dinner is what guests still talk about. The dance floor became absolute madness in the best possible way. DJ Spino turned the historic villa into a nightclub, and the American guests brought party energy that lasted until the early hours. This wasn't a typical Swiss wedding, this was a full-blown celebration that honored both cultures.
