As destination wedding photographers, we love returning to venues that feel truly cinematic. Château de Robernier is one of those rare places. Set among vineyards and olive groves in Provence (Montfort-sur-Argens, Var), the château blends historic character with modern comfort and an atmosphere that feels wonderfully private. For this celebration, our UK couple invited their closest friends for a full weekend of connection, with heartfelt moments, elegant details, and the kind of golden southern light that makes every part of the day feel effortless. From quiet morning preparations to a joyful evening reception, we focused on natural, editorial storytelling so the photos feel as timeless as the setting itself.

There are some places that just feel like a movie set the second you arrive, and Robernier is one of them. It is peaceful, full of character, and it has that warm Provence feeling everywhere you look. If you are dreaming of a wedding that feels elegant but still relaxed, this venue makes it easy to create that vibe.
This wedding day honestly felt like a dream from start to finish. The ceremony was outside with views over the rolling hills, and the light was soft and golden. The sun was shining, everyone was smiling, and when the couple read their vows you could feel the emotion in the air. It was one of those moments where time slows down a little, and you can see how much everyone cares.
After the ceremony, guests moved next to the château for drinks and the start of the celebrations. Glasses clinked, hugs happened, and there was laughter everywhere. That little in-between time is always one of our favourite parts of the day because it is so real. People relax, the couple gets to breathe, and the story starts to unfold naturally.
Dinner was served in the courtyard and it looked beautiful. Think twinkling lights, flowers everywhere, and that cosy feeling you only get with an outdoor dinner in the south of France. Toasts were made, stories were shared, and you could tell this was the kind of group who genuinely loves being together. It was warm, emotional, and fun all at the same time.
And then the party really started. Once the music kicked in, the dance floor filled up fast. The couple’s first dance was such a sweet moment, and after that everyone joined in and it turned into the best kind of celebration. The night felt joyful and effortless, the kind you wish you could replay.
