Why We Opened Studio Flora
For nearly two decades, my partner Avieta and I have traveled the world photographing luxury weddings in Europe. We love the rush of destination weddings, the grand venues, and the epic landscapes.
But there was always a dream to create something grounded. A place where we could slow down, connect deeply with people in our own community, and bring that same high-end, editorial aesthetic to everyday moments. That dream is: Studio Flora
Located in Echt, Limburg (central to Roermond, Weert, Eindhoven and Maastricht), and only 30 minutes away from Dusseldorf), Studio Flora is our professional photostudio where we photograph families, entrepreneurs, and brands. It’s not your typical "smile-at-the-camera" studio. It’s a space where international experience meets local warmth.
We named the studio after our dog, Flora. Her pure energy and unconditional love inspired our entire philosophy: authentic, enthusiastic, and straight from the heart.
At Studio Flora, we don’t do stiff poses or forced smiles. We work with a style we call 'Modern Romantic', a blend of editorial aesthetics and raw authenticity. Whether I am photographing a CEO for their personal branding or a family for a timeless portrait, the goal is always the same: to capture character, not just a face.
